Atrocious Thursday

Posted in Delhi, Gandhi, War by clash on March 2, 2006

The biggest war criminal of our era hits our land. The gung-ho around is utterly despicable. In the morning hours of today, he placed some fresh flowers on the grandiosely polished marble on the tombstone of Gandhi. A moment that can be the worst our nation would have ever witnessed. The epitome of ahimsa-Gandhi, being honored by the head of a rogue nation responsible for invading more than 50 countries from its inception and which always reverberates contempt on other societies with his acerbic insults on them. A person responsible for the killing of innocent civilians- mothers, children, all around the world is right here for signing lucrative business deals and a nuclear deal. Whoever is well studied about the issues know that India is way ahead of US in nuclear technology as they stopped their research in the field of nuclear technology by late 70’s. The same country, which imposed stringent restrictions on us when we exploded the bomb, wants a nuclear deal. It is so fishy.

People who rule the roost here are so happy that Dubya is here. The media that always dilly-dally in their approaches are voraciously vouching for his presence and is portraying the whole scenario as if, it has been a god given gift that he is here. A few hundred people walked in the streets of Delhi in protest of his arrival and Indian left, as always is incapable of conjuring a massive protest. March 2nd is the saddest day in the history of this country. It is neither a black Thursday nor a thunderous Thursday. I will term it an “atrocious Thursday” where our rulers and the people in our country had a momentary lapse of reason and the past.

Dubya claims it is the clash of the civilizations. From the pagan lands, when on one fine morning someone discovers that dried wood floats in the water, they made a vessel out of it traveled around the world and captured places and butchered the indigenous tribes and started living there. You call it civilization? I don’t. But we have a 5000 years or more than that old civilization to bank upon. However, today we all have to cry aloud “civilization is a failure”.

:@) American history began with the migration of people from Asia some time prior to 12,000 years ago, possibly following large animals that they hunted into the Americas.

External visitors, not until after the voyages of Christopher Columbus in early 1500s that European nations began to explore the land in earnest and settle there permanently.

Then America fought against every single person who invaded into their land, threw them away, looted others, raped women, molested children, killed husbands…

Today, a nation whose foundation stone is dipped in blood tries ruling the world. It strikes deals, a push-button mechanism against the people who raise voices against them.

And the “messenger of peace” is here. Let’s welcome him with black hearts!

good post! but hate (!)you for those unbreakable words in between!

goin back to the time of the space race, the 60’s.
america sent their astraounouts to space. they faced a problem…. ordinary pens didn’t work in space under zero gravity. so they spend billions of dollars on research for nearly a decade, and finally come up with a pen that works in space….

then when the russian s went to space they faced the same problem….. they had a faster and simpler solution. they used a pencil!!
