lost in translation : a subtle movie, with crisp editing, wonderful lighting, and of course a thumping style of direction, this movie is worth a watch, though I am not claiming, its some highly intellectually charged movie, or that kind of movie which passes on a good message, its nothing of that sort, its just the magic of the “father’s daughter :Francis ford Coppola: Sofia Coppola! Good going the lineage

sideways: it won the Oscar for best screen play,I really don’t believe in oscars as I do with the Nobel prize ( tom hanks didn’t win for his role in cast away, Gandhi dint win for peace, this absolutely makes both of this mammoth awards phoney!), earlier there was Cannes, now aishwarya rai was on its jury , thats it!! i dont think good film fests are no more on earth , may be some small time ones, like the one that happen on the puri beach (orissa) where movie makers with a real passion, who rarely can make their ends meet, end up with their own movie and present it for a small crowd, who will sent you back with warm hearted eulogies rather than huge fortune and fame. And whole hearted criticisms than the phoney red carpet visit and goo-gaa .
back to the point: sideways, a subtle movie by Alexander Payne, with excellent acting by Paul giamtti (awesome!! u can see the pain in his eyes, the frustration, off late i have never came across such an actor!!) and Thomas Hayden church intermingled with good comedy makes it a good movie that takes you for a good ride….

Oh Okie when u think about the Lucifer, it can’t be none other
    than the Lucifer himself.
    Welcome Classsh!!!!!!!!!

I went through your blog, quite interesting. I thought twice (mmm a lot) b4 putting a comment here, because posting comments in a blog means a mutual scratching and slapping of backs. And precisely that’s what Jilby was expecting us to do
Blog itself is a threat coz many people (read retards) who can’t make it to the real life depends on blogs to pass their stupid Ideas and they will find buyers, as their mamas Uncles and Aunts or their “friends” as stupid as them pat on their back
telling nice work sonny great work buddy blah blah blah

Jilby is just one among them. So let us better forget him, ignore him
Hey you are not fighting alone bro
I am climbing up the mountain with you, for the other side of the mountain lies the valley of truth

Let me rant about the Oscars too- A black guy/girl should be given an award in the realm of acting coz they were treated pathetically years back! Gah- some compensation!

Cannes. Sigh- will somebody shoot Aishwarya Rai?!!!!
